Adult Film Star Kendra Sunderland Arrested for Marijuana Possession in Texas

Kendra Sunderland, a well-known adult film actress, recently found herself in legal trouble after being arrested for marijuana possession in Montgomery County, Texas.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 29-year-old was taken into custody on August 1st for felony possession of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana, which remains illegal in Texas.

Sunderland was arrested shortly after noon, though authorities have not disclosed the circumstances that led to her being detained. The charges stem from her possession of less than one gram of THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis. Despite the relatively small amount, Texas law still classifies the possession as a felony.

A mugshot obtained by TMZ shows Sunderland looking upset following her arrest. When reached for comment, she told TMZ, "I've been advised not to say anything. I'm not trying to incriminate myself any further. I just know that I'm not a criminal. I'm just a stoner."

Sunderland, who resides in Nevada, is accustomed to more lenient cannabis laws. In her home state, adults aged 21 and over can legally possess up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis in private residences or licensed social use lounges. However, Texas maintains strict regulations against marijuana use and possession.

After her arrest, Sunderland was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Conroe County next month to face the charges.
