In the steamy visual directed by Ricardo Souza, Anitta takes on the role of a provocative receptionist in a brothel where various characters make their appearances. The Brazilian funk-infused track showcases Anitta's lively vocals in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Speaking about the project, Anitta expressed, "In this endeavor, I deeply immerse myself in carioca funk, the rhythm that raised me and is an integral part of my hometown's culture. The visuals reflect much of my experiences in the favelas, which are working-class neighborhoods in Brazil. Alongside international producers, I was determined to involve Brazilians in this incredible team, and their contributions were invaluable."

She continued, "The music videos can stand on their own, yet they also form a trilogy! To fully grasp the storyline, you'll need to watch all three. The visuals are captivating, fun, vibrant, and entertaining!"

"Funk Rave," the first release from this EP, was accompanied by a dance-centric music video also shot in Brazil. The third track from the EP, titled "Used To Be," is set to receive its corresponding music video on August 24. While the implications of these releases on Anitta's upcoming album remain ambiguous, it's known that a complete album is in the works and will be released soon.

During a conversation with Variety, Anitta unveiled that her upcoming record will be centered entirely around Brazilian funk, paying homage to her culture and truest self. She remarked, "I believe Brazilian funk is currently gaining global recognition, and I'm eager to shed light on its roots and origins. It's a part of my culture, my community, and my heritage, so I'm thrilled to partner with Republic on this."

Furthermore, in an exclusive cover story by Harper's Bazaar, it was confirmed that a collaboration with Sam Smith is in progress. Described as a "sensuous duet," the upcoming track between the two artists has piqued significant interest.
