Actor Josh Duhamel has revealed that he has become a doomsday prepper, in case things "hit the fan" in Los Angeles.
Duhamel, who is best known for his roles in the "Transformers" franchise and the TV show "Las Vegas," told the website Inverse that he has been learning how to hunt and fish, and has even bought 54 acres of land in Montana.
"I have this crazy fixation on what happens if s**t hits the fan in LA and I have to take my family out there and live off the land," he said.
Duhamel also said that he is working on growing crops on his land, and has even built a few cabins.
"It keeps my lizard brain active," he said.
While Duhamel's doomsday prepping may seem extreme to some, it is not without precedent. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in doomsday prepping, as people become increasingly concerned about the future of the world.
There are a number of reasons why people might choose to become doomsday preppers. Some people are concerned about the possibility of a natural disaster, such as a hurricane or earthquake. Others are worried about the possibility of a man-made disaster, such as a nuclear war or terrorist attack. And still others are simply concerned about the general state of the world, and believe that it is only a matter of time before things "hit the fan."
Whatever the reason, doomsday prepping can be a way for people to take control of their own destiny and prepare for the worst. And while it may seem like a daunting task, there are a number of resources available to help people get started.
If you are interested in learning more about doomsday prepping, there are a number of websites and books that can provide you with more information. You can also find a number of prepper communities online, where you can connect with other people who are interested in the same thing.
And remember, doomsday prepping is not just about preparing for the worst. It is also about living a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle. So even if you don't believe that the world is going to end tomorrow, there are still a number of benefits to be gained from learning how to live off the land.
