In an interview with Indian Express, Dimri recounted how Vanga transparently discussed the intimate scene while pitching the movie. He assured her that it would be shot with aesthetic sensibility and stressed the importance of her comfort throughout the process.

"The day he offered me the film, Sandeep sir had categorically told me, 'Hey, this is the scene I want to shoot; I am looking at it this way. I promise you that it won’t be vulgar, that it will be aesthetically shot. But I have to look for your comfort. So if you are not comfortable, we will think of a different way to do it. But you need to tell me honestly,'" Tripti recalled.

Although she took some time to consent to the scene, Tripti asserted that understanding the nature of the project is crucial when signing up for it. Drawing a comparison with her role in Bulbull, she explained that the rape scene there was more traumatic, requiring her to emotionally detach. In Animal, she approached the scene with a commitment to giving her best.

Tripti disclosed that during the shoot, the entire set was closed down to ensure privacy. Only four people were allowed, and monitors were turned off to enhance her comfort. "When you are made to feel that safe and comfortable, then you feel good. It felt like a safe space, of working with people who respect you and the process. Safe sets are the most important. I was told that the set is closed, and if I feel the need to stop, I could say cut as well. That’s what gave me immense confidence as well," she shared.

In Animal, Tripti Dimri portrayed the character of Zoya. The film, released on December 1, delves into the complexities of a man's toxic relationship with his father. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the narrative unfolds with Ranbir Kapoor's character Vijay as an anti-hero willing to go to any lengths, even gunning down 200 people, to protect his emotionally distant father, played by Anil Kapoor. Despite criticisms for glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity, the film has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark at the Indian box office, attaining significant success.
